I began at Grove Public Schools July 1, 1996 when I was hired as an Agricultural Education teacher. Between now and then, I have held the positions of Grove Alternative Academy Teacher, Grove Alternative Academy Director, Grove High School Assistant Principal and the 2017-18 school year will being my 11th year as Grove High School Principal.
I am an active member of the Oklahoma Association of Secondary School Principals. I am currently serving as Past President due to having been elected President Elect for the 2015-16 School year and President for the 2016-17 school year. I have had the priviledge of being named 2012 Oklahoma High School Principal of the Year.
I am married to Steve Dozier, a Grove High School Alum. I have two daughters that both attend Grove High School.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my daughters and husband. Time spent camping or on the farm with them is most rewarding. One of my daughters has a strong beef cattle SAE operation through FFA . She enjoys competing fitting cattle and livestock judging. The other daughter has the God given talent of performing. She is a very strong singer and performs with GHS Chorus, Speech/Drama and is a member of the National Cherokee Youth Choir. We are part of a strong chruch family by being members of Elk River Baptist Church. It is such a blessing to be able to watch my family do what they love in Grove, Oklahoma!
