Agricultural Education is one of the most unique programs available to students. Although the curriculum topics are agricultural-related, the skills and knowledge learned are valuable to any students.

Agricultural Education consist of three elements
1. Organized Instruction is the classroom instruction carried out in a laboratory, shop, greenhouse, school farm, field trips, etc.
2. Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE) is individual student application of knowledge and skills required through classroom instruction and put to practical use outside the classroom under supervision of the agricultural education teacher.
3. FFA Activities requires a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory activities, and supervised agricultural experience. Numerous FFA activities requires students to become prepared by study and experience in each of these three phases.

The Grove Agricultural Education program is a single teacher program and was chartered in 1950.The program is available to students from the 8th to 12th grade and has been recognized on both the national and state level as an award-winning chapter.

All Agricultural Education courses offered at Grove High School are under the Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources Career Cluster. This categorizing of courses assists students in preparing for possible future careers. The Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources includes production, processing, marketing, distribution, financing, and development of agricultural commodities and resources including food, fiber, and wood products, natural resources, horticulture, and other plant and animal products/resources.
